This is a working community. People here keep tight schedules, manage long commutes through BWI, and don’t have patience for programs that waste their time. We get that. Our classes start on time, instructors are on the mat, and the curriculum is structured so students make real progress whether they train twice a week or five times a week.

Kids Martial Arts Close to Linthicum

The kids’ program at Rising Tide is one of the most complete in Anne Arundel County. Children as young as five can start in Little Sharks, our foundational class built around movement, coordination, and basic technique. From there, kids move into Junior BJJ (ages 7-13), Kids Muay Thai, and Kids Boxing as they grow.

For kids who develop a competitive drive, we offer a Kids Competition Class that prepares them for local and regional tournaments. Competing is never required, but the option is there for those who want the challenge.

Classes run on a structured weekly schedule:

  • Mon / Wed / Fri — No-Gi
  • Tue / Thu / Sat — Gi
  • Sundays — No-Gi adults + 40+ Gi at 10am
